Discover KANOSUKE’s first exclusive edition dedicated to Kagoshima.


Crafted using a unique malting method called “Hioki Malting,” which adapts traditional equipment used for making shochu koji, this whisky highlights Hoshun barley—a two-row variety locally grown in Kagoshima and malted directly in Kanosuke's facilities.

The heart of the malt is aged in re-charred shochu casks, then carefully blended with whiskies matured in bourbon barrels and other types of casks. The result offers a bouquet of green apple aromas, an exotic sweetness of tropical fruits, and a rich malty profile.

This whisky reflects the unique character of the Kagoshima region, where the distillery is located.

According to Kanosuke Distillery’s official website, this limited edition will be available starting April 18, 2025.

TASTING NOTES

A WHISKY WITH TROPICAL AROMAS – FRUITY SWEETNESS AND A RICH MALT CHARACTER.

A refreshing aroma of green apples, the sweetness of tropical fruits, and the warmth of malt. The finish lingers with a subtle hint of ginger.
